Donald Trump proposes to abolish the Department of Education
Former President Donald Trump hinted at a presidential run in 2024 when he spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
“We will make America proud again, we will make America safe again, and we will make America great again,” the former US president said.
Mr. Trump has held open the door to his presidential run through crowdfunding and rallies, without officially confirming his ambitions.
Yesterday, former New Jersey governor and former Trump adviser Chris Christie estimated that the chances of the former president running again are dead.
“Am I convinced that Donald Trump will run for president? I’m not convinced. I believe it’s a 50-50 shot right now whether he’s running or not,” Christie told ABC’s This Week.
Meanwhile, Mr. Trump claimed at the CPAC conference that the January 6 riots in the US Capitol and the alleged 2020 plan by the right-wing militia to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer were both “phony” government plans.
“The sting they did to Gretchen Whitmer was fake, as were the ones that initiated Jan. 6,” Trump said. “It was a fake deal, fake. It was a fake deal.”

Donald Trump claimed during his Conservative Political Action Conference address on Saturday that the January 6 riots in the US Capitol and the alleged 2020 plan by the right-wing militia to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer are both “fake” — government conspiracies.
“The sting they did to Gretchen Whitmer was fake, as were the ones that initiated Jan. 6,” Trump said. “It was a fake deal, fake. It was a fake deal.”
“I think Gretchen Whitmer was in less danger than the people sitting in this room right now,” Trump added.

Trump begs supporters for donations to help him CNN . to sue
More than a week after threatening to sue CNN, Donald Trump has asked his supporters on his email list to contribute money to help him fight his lawsuit against the outlet.
Mr. Trump said late last month that he would sue CNN and “other media outlets” for dismissing his claims of voter fraud.
In a 282-page letter the former US president’s attorney sent to CNN chief Chris Licht last month, the attorney argued that the cable network defamed Mr Trump, called him a liar for his unproven accusations of voter fraud and “consistently a story that denounced President Trump’s legitimacy and competence”.
