Joohyung “Tom” Kim’s first PGA Tour win came with many perks. In addition to earning his Tour card through the 2024 season, Kim made more than $1.3 million.
Because he entered the event as a special temporary Tour member, Kim was ineligible for FedExCup points related to the playoffs. But thanks to his victory and achieving full Tour status, Kim’s unofficial FEC points – including 500 points for his win – became official for the playoffs.
