Up to five ‘Destiny 2’ weapons before Arc 3.0 came out

We’ve got about two weeks left until Season 18 launches, and there’s not much to do in Destiny 2 right now except for the Solstice rut, where I… honestly wouldn’t recommend spending too much time in it. to stab. But a good thing about the way Destiny 2 is set up now is that you can work on long-term goals, like crafting, while doing a bunch of other things.

We know Arc 3.0 is coming, and while we don’t really know anything about it other than a general focus on ‘speed’, it’s a good bet it’s a good idea to have a few high-quality bow weapons. And there are some you can make that you may want to consider maxing out before Season 18 starts. Here are my choices:

1. Sweet sadness (stats for all/one for all) – This is a Risen auto rifle that feels absolutely insane with the SFA/OFA combo, and assuming we get some sort of weapon handling/reload boost from Arc 3.0 itself. This is one of my favorite cars in recent history and I can already say it will see a lot of use next season.

Where to edit patterns: PsiOps battlefields from Season of the Risen, weekly frame focus at HELM with upgrade.

2. Nezerec’s Whisper (Impulse Booster/Frenzy) – It’s the only Legendary Arc Glaze in the game right now, and Glazes are extremely strong no matter what the Hive Ghost tells you. This is probably my favorite part in this, but since I had that on The Enigma too, I gave myself a Demolitionist/Adrenaline Junkie just for shrapnel, which will probably be fun again for Arc 3.0.

Where to edit patterns: Nightmare Containment/Sever in Season of the Haunted, weekly focus at HELM with upgrade.

3. Treacherous (One for All/Dragonfly) – Yes, a few on this list are from Vow of the Disciple, and this thing can hit like a truck with One for All active, which you can activate with Dragonfly, one of the few combos like this in the entire game. There are plenty of other good rolls out there if that’s up your alley (I also have a Rapid Hit/Adrenaline Junkie), but it’s a top-notch pulse that feels great in most circumstances.

Where to edit patterns: Disciple Vow raid, weekly frame available at first clear.

4. Forbearance (ambitious killer/chain reaction) – Can’t leave out one of the best mafia scavenging weapons in the game, the only wave frame GL that can roll Chain Reaction. Again, it’s from Vow, but few things are more worth the time investment considering this is one of the best PvE specials in Destiny history.

Where to edit patterns: Disciple Vow raid, weekly frame available at first clear.

5. Edge of Competition (Hunter Exotic) – There are only two Legendary Bow Weapons you can even craft, but I’m not going to recommend the Wicked Car or Wicked GL from the Witch Queen collection. I think you’ll want to keep an eye on Edge of Concurrence, as it’s just a enormous damage buff last season, and his exotic advantage can now kill huge clusters of enemies with his wave lightning. If any exotic has a chance at synergy with Arc 3.0 triggers, I feel like this is it, even if I still wish Bungie would rework the functionality of all three of these glaives.

Where to burp pattern: A countless Wellspring runs, though you only need a single cartridge to drop. You don’t need to run it on Hunter.

Those are my choices. There are also a lot of good slot 1 weapons to get, but I wanted to stick with the arc theme here for now. I’m open to suggestions of anything you think I missed.
