After the game, Klopp praised Fulham’s performance and admitted his side was way below par.
“Then we wanted to fight back, but then you don’t find it easy. The field was dry.. we really played into their cards.”

“The best thing about the game is the result,” Klopp told BT Sport after full-time.
“A really bad game. How can that happen? The attitude was not good at the beginning.
“We tried to react after fifteen minutes. The field was dry, things like that. Really difficult.”
Klopp has built a reputation for finding excuses for his Liverpool side after poor results.
The German was mocked by rival fans on social media after his latest comments and Fulham has now twisted the knife.
The West London club posted a photo on Twitter of several sprinklers spraying the pitch at their home stadium, along with the caption: “The Craven Cottage grass looked absolutely lush yesterday,” followed by the water emoji.
Fulham’s cheeky tweet has become a hit with supporters on social media.
“Hahahahaa yessss, it wasn’t too dry guys,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Fulham are hoping to continue their impressive start to the season when they face Wolves away from home on Saturday.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will try to bounce back when they host Crystal Palace next Monday.
