Bears wide receiver N’Keal Harry suffered a high ankle sprain in Saturday’s practice and will see a specialist to see how long he will be out. according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Harry had his ankle rolled up by linebacker Nicholas Morrow after receiving a fencing pass during team practice. He couldn’t put any weight on his ankle as he left the field.
Bears coach Matt Eberflus declined to comment on the injury when he spoke to reporters after practice on Saturday.
‘I just saw him come down’ said Eberflus. “I’ve seen the play and I don’t know much about it. We will of course do the evaluation and once I have that we can send it back to you. And if it’s a longer situation, we’ll let you know what it is. If it’s day to day, we say that too.”
Harry was traded from the Patriots to the Bears earlier this offseason, with Chicago sending a 2023 seventh-round roster to New England in exchange for the former first-round roster.

Harry was never able to get in shape with the Patriots as he had only 57 receptions for 598 yards and four touchdowns over three seasons with the team.
Harry looked forward to the prospects of a fresh start with the Bears.
“I just feel like it’s a good fit for me,” Harry told reporters in late July. “When I entered the building, even when I entered the building, I just felt a lot of good vibes. Everyone is excited here. I’m looking forward to the season and it’s just a reset for me. A good reset.”
